Handguns, muzzleloaders, shotguns and rifles are all on the floor, and if the one you want isn't in the case, we give you access to any firearm you need and order it in. Repairs are free on anything bought here.

Good, dry boots are the difference between a long sit and a short one, and we know about keeping warm here in Wisconsin. Steel toes for industrial work, camo patterned waterproof boots for the woods, and casual shoes for everything in between. We also stock the laces, inserts, leather cleaner and water repellent that make a pair last.
Buy a bow here and every preparation and adjustment is done before you leave the store. Archery has turned into a high tech business, so our archery experts tune your bow for accuracy, walk you through maintaining it, and make sure you are comfortable with the equipment. We also build custom arrows: fletching, trimming and inserts.
Having the proper optics fitted correctly on your weapon is a must if you are at all concerned with precision. We carry gun scopes, crossbow scopes, binoculars and spotting scopes, and we mount and set them up at the counter. If what you want isn't in stock, we will do whatever we can to get it for you.
Get deer accustomed to coming to your spot for beneficial minerals well before the season opens, and the right mix will support antler growth on the bucks using it. We stock Antler King, Big & J and Lucky Buck, and we can tell you which one has been working on ground like yours around Trempealeau County.
Holtan's TnC Sporting Goods is family-owned and family-run in Whitehall, and between us we have 44 years of combined experience in this trade. We hunt the same coulees and creek bottoms you do, which is the only reason we can tell you honestly whether a bow, a boot or a scope is the right one for the way you actually hunt.
That is also why we do not stock every model made. We carry the lines we stand behind, we set them up properly before you leave, and we repair anything bought here at no charge. Ask for Tom, Mike or John when you come in.

Yes. We have a video archery range and an indoor 2D and 3D range in the building, and we run shoots throughout the year. Come in, get your hands on the bow, and put arrows through it before you spend a dollar.

Repairs are free on any gun or bow purchased from us, and we handle new bow set-up, tuning and custom arrow building at the bench. If you bought elsewhere, bring it in and we will take a look and tell you honestly what it needs.
We are closed Mondays through mid-August. Tuesday through Friday we are open 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and we are closed Sunday. Call ahead if you are driving a distance.
